  1. Disneylands Festival of Holidays

I attend this event each year and it just keeps getting better each year. Disney lovers can head to California Adventure and visit booths set up around the park featuring different cuisine and libations from around the world. The eggnog is a must try and you”ll be impressed with how it packs a punch. Be sure to check out our article of all the best selections from this year event. Every year we spend hours visiting each booth and leave no crumb behind. In addition to their Festival of Holidays, they also have even more treats that can be found around the entire park. I’m dying to try the new “Santa’s Lump of Coal” Beignets which are chocolate hazelnut. See pictures and a full recap of this fantastic event here.

    2. Queen Mary Christmas

I had the most amazing time last year at The Queen Mary. This year should be even more unique as the entire event will be aboard the ship. In fact on the very top deck guests will be able to enjoy ice skating beneath the decorative Queen Mary stacks and the mesmerizing night sky. The event will feature fun activities like meet and greats with Santa, stocking decorating, and delicious cocktails for the adults. Check out last years event.

  3. Knotts Merry Farm

Knotts Berry Farm always wows me with their holiday events. I visit every single event Knotts Berry Farm throws and love them all. During Knotts Merry Farm families will experience new holiday treats, hourly snow falls, nightly tree lighting, and Santa’s Cabin. In Santa’s Cabin, kids will be able to meet Santa in person while enjoying treats like cookies and milk and chocolate covered cheesecake. Parents can even enhance their hot cocoa with some Baileys Irish Cream. See our full recap of this cheerful holiday event here.

Harry Potter Universal Studios

   5. Universal Studios Grinchmas & Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Beginning on December 1st Universal Studios Hollywood will light up the sky by bringing who-ville to life complete with a Grinch-mas-tree. The entire park will be transformed into a winter wonderland. In addition, as the night falls, the Hogwarts Castle will light up with a dazzling light display complete with a glistening snowfall.  4. Winterfest at The OC Fairgrounds

If you love The OC Fair, then you’ll definitely want to check out Winterfest. This event combines fun rides, beautiful light displays, and fun activities for the whole family. Conveniently located right here in Orange County, this family-friendly event has everything you need like ice skating, snow tubing, and fireworks! This year they will be introducing Dicken’s Village which will give attendees a trip down memory lane through the 1800’s. There will be a cookie decorating station, holiday storytelling with Santa and Mrs. Claus (through Christmas Eve), pony rides, and new Victorian holiday shops.

How many of these fun holiday events will you be attending this year?
