On a Yelp Elite event I was lucky enough to be introduced to this amazing little Taiwanese Restaurant called Lollicup were I found my favorite naughty drink, the Potted Plant Milk Tea. This is the only place I know of in Los Angeles that serves this masterpiece of creamy Milk Tea topped with Oreo Crumbles and a little sprig of mint. You can even get fancy and add honey or vanilla boba and numerous jelly flavors. I think this drink is truly nostalgic for me because as a kid my favorite thing to do was scrape all of the icing out of my oreos and mash just the cookies in milk. Once they were all soggy I would eat my mud pie with a spoon and it was amazing. This is like the fancy grown up version of my little concoction, so if you are ever over on Sawtelle make sure you run in and grab one. You”ll thank me later!
