If you're tired of your mint cookie ice cream tasting more like toothpaste, then you'll love this recipe. It tastes exactly like delicious thin mint cookies without all the extra calories.
Add all ingredients to a blender except for the agave and cookies. Blend until the cottage cheese is completely whipped into the mixture.
Pour all of the mixture into your container and let it rest on the counter or in the refrigerator for a few minutes to settle. Then, give it a quick stir and place it in the freezer, leaving the top off. Freeze for 24 hours.
Once you're ready to make your ice cream, place the top on your container and rinse the side under warm water for 30 seconds.
Blend on the ice cream setting.
Then make a hole in the center of your ice cream, add 1/2 tablespoon of agave, and 4 cookies. Then place it back onto your machine and use the Mix-In setting.
Once finished, scoop into a bowl, sprinkle one chopped Oreo thin on top, and enjoy.
