The 17th annual San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival 2021 returned and it did not disappoint. This is one event I always recommend. With their endless wine selections, cocktail offerings, and gourmet food selection, there is something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll always be guaranteed to leave this wine and food Festival full and fully satisfied. Here is a recap of just a few of our favorite samplings throughout the day.
San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival Features a “One World Beef” Tent
One of the most popular areas of this year’s event was the new One World Beef tent which offered some delicious bites from brands like Brandt Beef.
Participating restaurant, Rancho Valencia, served this delicious risotto with beef so tender it melted in your mouth.
Additionally, guests could find a selection of different cocktails in this area including Bloody Mary’s with ReBru Vodka. This was my first drink at 11:30am and it was perfect. I love that the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival not only has endless wine selections but also tasty craft cocktails.
This years San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival 2021 celebrating a variety of wine regions.
As guests we strolling through the event, they could find a variety of different wine regions throughout the event including Paso Robles, Temecula, and Baja California.
For the non-drinkers who just came for the cuisine, or those just looking for a refreshing spritzer, they also had a Mocktail Station with Lyre’s American Malt mixers.
Is the VIP Experience worth it?
This is one event where I can tell you the VIP tent is 100% worth it. In additional to a large shaded tent with sit down tables and live music, the VIP tent also offered some exceptional food samplings. Chef Amy Di Biase of the Grand Restaurant Group was serving duck two ways with this delicious duck breast and pate.
My favorite part of the VIP tent had to be the amazing offerings by Esco Gelato. In 80 degree weather, having some cold creamy gelato is the perfect way to cool off.
