Oak Laguna Beach has been a well known hot spot since its opening. This Valentine’s Day they are featuring a $75 pre-fixed 3-course dinner featuring some delicious selection. Diners can start with an Albacore Cru accompanied with papaya relish or enjoy some crispy duck drums. For entrees you can never go wrong with their Chilean Sea Bass or Filet, however, I’m eyeing their Seafood Duet. This new entree features salmon with 3 shrimp cassoulet, cream gnocchi, and a tropical fruit relish. For dessert, their Champagne Brulee has intrigued my curiosity.

Five Crowns has always been a favorite of ours. Like their name, they are offering a 5-course pre-fixed dinner this Valentine’s Day. Beginning with an Amuse-bouche, diners will start their meal with a Gougères stuffed with potato and parmesan truffle tuile. Next, you can select between their Warm Kale Salad or Cauliflower Soup. For starters, you can enjoy their Avocado Crab Mash or Steak Tartar with truffle chips. For entrees, it wouldn’t be Five Crowns without their amazing Prime Rib dinner. However, their Seared Salmon and Pappardelle Pasta with steak ragu are also excellent options. At Back Bay Bistro you can treat your Valentine to a romantic evening on the waterfront featuring a gourmet feast courtesy of Executive Chef Daniel Jimenez and a special performance by vocalist Mandy May Blest. We attend their amazing brunch frequently and this special Valentine’s Day dinner sounds superb. Your five-course meal will begin with an amuse bouche. Then you”ll be presented with decadent options like Lobster Bisque for starters and a world-class Ahi Poke for your second dish. Main entrees include their out of this world rack of lamb and there is even a seared Barramundi with wild mushroom risotto. Finally, guests can conclude their meal with an adorable heart-shaped chocolate cake with fresh raspberries.
