Ultimate Ninja Creami Peanut Butter Ice Cream

If you’re looking for a Ninja Creami Peanut Butter ice cream that is bursting with flavor, this is it! I’ve made several variations to finally create the perfect, most flavorful, creamy peanut butter ice cream topped with a sweet and easy-to-make peanut butter sauce. The best part? This recipe is still low in calories and high in protein, making for a delicious guilt-free treat.

Flavoring

The first time I tried to create a peanut butter ice cream, there just was not enough flavor. However, adding even more peanut powder would have dramatically increased the calories. Then I found an amazing peanut butter extract that was a game changer. It helped take this peanut butter ninja creami ice cream to the next level.

Pro Tip: Using Extracts is a great way to add flavor to your Ninja Creami Ice creams without adding extra calories!

I also like to use PB Fit Peanut Butter Powder which add both flavor and protein while being lower in calories that traditional peanut butter. I also add a little bit of french vanilla pudding mix and vanilla extract to give this ice cream a flavor almost like a Nutty Buddy cookie.

Stabilizers

All Ninja Creami ice creams need ingredients to stabilize the mixture and make it nice and creamy. This is especially true if you are using low-fat ingredients. To make this ice cream nice and creamy, I add cottage cheese. You can use low-fat or full-fat cottage cheese, but for this recipe I used low-fat to reduce the calories.

Once blended, this gives the ice cream a wonderful creamy texture and adds a flavor similar to cheesecake. It adds a whopping 14g of protein to the ice cream!

The second ingredient I love to add is a simple, flavorless collagen. I add this because it also makes the ice cream creamy, prevents ice crystals, and, best of all, has hair and skin benefits. One scoop also adds 5g of additional protein, so it’s a win-win.

Sweetener

I use Monk Fruit and natural sweeteners. I find that when you mix monk fruit with an agave or honey, it leaves no aftertaste. In this recipe, since we are adding the peanut butter and pudding mix, we only need to add a small amount of monk fruit to achieve the perfect sweetness. Then if you feel it needs to be sweeter, you can add a little agave during the re-spin.

Alternatives

  • You can make this recipe completely sugar-free by using sugar-free pudding mix and all monk fruit sweetener. You can even get a PB Fit powder that is sugar-free.
  • If you do not have monk fruit sweetener, just add your preferred sweetener.

Tips & Tricks

  • My biggest tip is to not add any additional sugar to your mix until after you do your first spin on the ice cream setting. Once you freeze your mix, it will mute the sweetness, and you will have to add a ton of sweetener. However, if you wait until you do the first spin, then add slightly more sweetener, and do a respin, you will add significantly less. This is especially useful for those who do not like the taste of alternative sweeteners, but don’t want to add a ton of sugar and calories to their ice cream.
  • Your mixture will likely be powdery after the first spin. Just add 1 tbsp of your milk and respin.

  • Combine all ingredients except for the agave and blend in a blender or Magic Bullet.
  • Freeze for 24 hours.

Notes

  • I like to use Fairlife milk because it is higher in protein and has less sugar. it’s also lactose-free.
  • If your ice cream isn’t sweet enough for you, add 1/2 tbsp after the first spin and then do a respin.
  • It is normal for your ice cream to look powdery after the first spin, just add 1 tbsp more of milk (and your agave if needed), then re-spin.
